FACEBOOK OH FACEBOOK (prepared to fill the article in the bulletin mumtaza)*

Facebook  is one social networking of a trend/boom in Indonesia today, at least since the last 3 years (2008). The author will highlight on some of the negative impacts are arising from these social networking via the Internet on social problems.


Facebook now starting to infect from students to educators, the main reason as pretext they are to add friends and contact them online. But ironically FB (Facebook) actually makes the other person is isolated or trigger other people to isolate themselves, to refrain from social interaction directly.


Due in fact, something to be bland and when each individual is no longer attending events related to social interaction directly, attending meetings with friends or even family and prefer to linger in front sat a computer connected to the Internet network or in front of the phone , in order to write the status or update the status and hopes with comments that appear. When he finally parted with the internet (offline), when interacting directly with friends, school, college and work then there is the anxiety and the anxiety to get back to connect to facebook. So once we have encountered many students, college students, office workers and even teachers / lecturers are often times when doing the activity, not the focus of the work being done by our occasional uncomfortable seeing that concerned many times to see cell phones that connect Internet.


According to researcher Dr. Sigman in the journal biologist (www.dailymail.co.uk), one user who was friends with new people in the world of facebook will have difficulty in communicating face-to-face (direct communication). And this behavior may increase the risk of serious health, such as cancer, stroke and heart disease and dementia.


On television too often we witness the impact of crimes committed through the media like facebook abduction, fraud, rape, murder and so on. This can be caused because users are too trusting and feel close to new friends who do not know the actual circumstances and conditions. In addition, because of the lack of directly interacting with other people so prone to deception and seduction consumed will be even greater.


As at end March 2011 that recently we have seen in some news media, having been married for 6 months, found out that his wife of a man. But oddly enough why the new note after 6 months after marriage if his wife a man? Because of garanya also only know through facebook and overconfidence in every news and pictures. Later married and every time you make a relationship couples to do through the back, (that's room rather than behind) which clearly it is contrary to the teachings of Islam. In the end this marriage clearly and false facades.


There are stories of my friends fellow teacher at the school, he told a friend recently, who are dependent in their daily life to always update the status and write comments of friends on social networks, so that duties and obligations of daily life are often overlooked, be inclined more lazy and often spend a pulse to the internet. And a peak of her anger when the current rise in grade son who had entered primary school, children get bad grades and no grade. His wife made the target to the husband (a friend of my friend) because it is familiar with facebook since he neglects attention to the interests and guidance that should he devoted to his family.


And more tragic story told in vent posted on a website (I forget the address), thanks to facebook become a means of infidelity and divorce finally happened, so who are victims of not only themselves but also as a child of God entrusted to his parents. Because of garanya too loose on the porch in writing something that is (supposedly) private, that can be accessed by many people. An absurdity when it was so no idea what to write diberanda or because a high level so that the writing emotions diberandanya personal problems. Tragically, in question would know if his writing would be read by people who are not interested, but unbeatable with lust. And many more negative things that arise as a result we can not filter the news (not to sharing), can not map the problem, assess the actual condition, and so forth so that it could be the lack of progress of Information and Technology was getting hurt ourselves. Naudzubillahi min dzalik.


Facebook as a social networking tool is fine only if utilized as a condiment or a kind of entertainment in life is to improve the quality of life, but this was often misused or misunderstood point into something addictive and add laziness to interact directly with people other.


We're not talking about haram halal facebook, let the Majlis Legal Affairs Committee or a MUI are more competent in formulating the contemporary Islamic law like this. But according to the opinion of the writer, the media could be prohibited when the offender uses with the purpose of evil, vanity, or vice and can be permissible or halal when players use it for propaganda media call to virtue and to prevent the evil, containing maslahah, the goodness of self and others , self-improvement, and everything that is important beneficial.


Conclusion:
We as Muslims who are learning more about the teachings of Islam and Islamic religious instruction through the university, should be an example to be able to put something in place. Let us work, channeling our ideas to the maximum extent possible origin as much as we are responsible and beneficial to themselves and others. Can through Facebook, Blog, Website, Magazine wall, writing articles in the media and so on. No matter when facebook used as medium of propaganda and widen the relations and increase business.  

However, given the negative impacts such as from a health standpoint, the direct interaction with the community, awareness of rights and obligations running into displaced from their primary function as well as much evil he creates, then let us be careful and be self-limiting and controlling ourselves in the use of this medium. My last message, write something useful that can be read publicly, instead of writing something hurtful / intimidate ourselves and others or something that is not important at all.
